The role
Based in our Support Centre in Richmond, as the Human Resources Manager you will manage the Human Resources function across our Mecca Cosmetica and Kit Cosmetics businesses, encompassing 29 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand, one Warehouse and one Support Centre. Your objective in this role is to provide high level HR leadership to create a value-added HR function that serves to cement our standing as an employer of choice. This position will enable you to get involved in all facets of HR from change and continuous improvement, to operational, reporting, HR process and generalist HR support.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, your main responsibilities as the Human Resources Manager are to:
- Create and manage employee related documentation (including Policies and Procedures, Contracts, and Job Descriptions) in line with organizational strategy and legislation
- Provide Employee Relations advice and support to our Sales Management team
- Evaluate and revise HRM practices to incorporate best practice
- Create and manage Workplace Agreements in line with organizational strategy and Industrial Relations Legislation
- Design and drive consistent recruitment and selection practices across our businesses
- Manage OH&S and Work Cover claims
- Work with Learning and Development and Sales Management team to identify requirements for training and support
- Additional project based process improvements (including implementation of Time and Attendance System)
Your Experience
To secure this role, you will be tertiary qualified in Human Resources (or a related field) and will have a minimum of 3 years of Generalist Human Resources experience. You will have an in-depth understanding of Government legislation and compliance requirements related to Human Resources and will have experience in providing employee relations advice and support to all organizational levels.
You will have a ‘hands-on’ approach, with an energetic and professional communication style and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.

The role
Mecca Cosmetica has an amazing opportunity for an exuberant young Visual Merchandiser to join our inspired and passionate team. As a key player within the Mecca Marketing team, you will be responsible for adopting and executing visual merchandising standards for Mecca Cosmetica within a number of areas including monthly promotions, international events and PR activities. You will support the Visual Merchandising Manager and your allocated stores by managing the day-to-day activities associated with Mecca VM in the Sydney and Queensland market.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Visual Merchandising Manager, your main responsibilities are to: Manage the implementation of all promotion programs at a VM level. This includes (but is not limited to);
- Maintaining the Mecca aesthetic within all stores to guidelines
- Implementation of monthly promotion programs
- Executing to plan and standard
- Project managing all VM elements – floor plans, collateral, signage and product from delivery to implementation
- Measure and report on the efficacy of VM programs once implemented
- Supporting and training store staff in ensuring all general VM standards are met in store
- Manage the communication of all VM issues with store and operations managers
In addition to this, you will work with and support the Marketing team with any requirements for styling and merchandising relevant to the activity.
